Reason: Champion Foods LLC is recalling certain batches of Motor City Pizza Co. 5 Cheese Bread because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. This action follows a California Dairies, Inc. milk powder recall. The milk powder was used in a seasoning blend for the cheese sauce. While routine testing of the seasoning batches was negative for Salmonella, the recall is being issued out of an abundance of caution. No illnesses or injuries have been reported to date.

Consumers should stop using the product immediately and dispose of it. You can contact Champion Foods LLC for a full refund or return the product to the place of purchase.

Product: Dried Herring Fish packaged in clear, plastic 7 oz bag with blue trim
Brand: No Brand · Prime Food Processing LLC
Reason: The product was not adequately eviscerated, which is prohibited under New York State Agriculture and Markets regulations because Clostridium botulinum spores are more likely to be concentrated in the viscera. The issue was discovered during routine testing by the New York Department of Agriculture and Markets. No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported.

Recommended action (Source: FDA)

Do not consume the dried herring fish as it may contain botulinum spores. Return the product to the retail store where it was purchased for a full refund or discard it safely.
